PRAXIS I Preparation

Through the Diverse Pathways in Teacher Preparation program, the TTC Learning Assistance Center offers prospective teachers an opportunity to prepare free-of-charge for the PRAXIS exam.

Services provided include:

  • A computerized practice test to identify areas of strength and weakness
  • PLATO software: extensive online tutorials and exercises specific to PRAXIS preparation; exercises are chosen based upon your particular areas of need
  • Assistance with PLATO software questions
  • Resource lists for further online help
  • One-on-one tutorial sessions for further individualized explanation and support
  • A second practice test, after completion of your course of study, to prepare you for the exam
  • One-time reimbursement for Praxis registration fees. (Student must submit a copy of Praxis scores and receipt for registration.)
