P. Teehan bio

Paul Teehan has been with Trident Technical College since 1993. His background in education and industry is extensive. He began his hospitality career as a bus boy to finance his college education and continued to work at various positions in Massachusetts while in college. He worked as an Assistant Innkeeper and later general manager of Storrowton Inn and Restaurant. He went on to work for Dunfey Management as a Sheraton Food and Beverage Director and as General Manager for other restaurants and clubs. Other business experience includes time in Ireland with the Milton Bradley Company. His twenty years of teaching credentials includes working with high schools in South Carolina as well as Massachusetts with faculty positions at Holyoke Community College, Springfield Technical Community College, and Westfield State in Massachusetts. Mr Teehan holds an Ed.S . degree as an Education Specialist in Education Administration from South Carolina State University; an M.Ed. masters in education and M.B.A. masters degree in business education from American International College; a B.S.B.A. bachelors degree in business administration from North Adams State College and an A.S. associate degree in science from Holyoke Community College. Teehan is a certified hospitality educator (CHE) according to standards achieved through the Educational Institute of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
