Customized Training Program
The Institute will develop programs to meet specific training needs of the food service and hospitality industry.
College of Charleston Articulation Agreement
Trident Technical College and the College of Charleston have developed expanded articulation agreements that provide TTC's hospitality and culinary students the opportunity to pursue a Bachelor's of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management at the College of Charleston.
TTC's Culinary Arts Technology and Hospitality and Tourism Management associate degree students will also be able to transfer credits to the College of Charleston. However, since the College of Charleston does not offer culinary courses, students with an associate degree in Culinary Arts Technology will not be able to transfer as many credits as hospitality students.
The following specific conditions apply:
- The specific courses that will apply for an individual student may vary depending on the number of courses successfully completed at the time of enrollment at the College of Charleston, but may not exceed 60 semester hours.
- The College of Charleston School of Business and Economics will accept from Trident Technical College those courses with a grade of “C” or better.
- This transfer agreement is based on the 2006-2007 TTC catalog. It is not a blanket transfer agreement that covers all students seeking to transfer from Trident Technical College to the College of Charleston. This agreement is expressly applicable only for those students who have been granted admission by the College of Charleston to the School of Business and Economics in the Hospitality and Tourism Management program.
