Know your facts and gain practice skills to start the school year right. Muscle the math challenge with times tables, learn games to play with multiplication, and gain tools to make you strong and mighty in math. Muscle up to the math power!

Learn the basics of drawing including composition, line, value, shadows, perspective, and color. Also, learn proportion of figures and animals. At the end of the week, campers will have a gallery showing for family and friends.

Can You Dig It?! (Ages 7-11)

Investigate geology, paleontology and archeology. Learn all about the world of dinosaurs. See how dinosaurs lived, played and hunted. Something new and exciting will be discovered each day!

EARTH Camp (Ages 7-11)

How do environmental issues affect the world we live in? Learn the vital role of the food chain. During this week we explore the effects of daily living. Learn how and why we need to clean up through a hands-on approach. Become a caretaker of the Earth as we look at ways to help reduce our garbage, and discover the science behind solar energy.

Gamestar Mechanic (Ages 9-13) NEW!

Gamestar Mechanic is a game and online community that teaches kids how to design their own games. Game design builds systems thinking, 21st century skills, creative problem solving, art and aesthetics, writing and storytelling, and creates a motivation for STEM learning.

Google Applications (Ages 11-14) NEW!

Campers learn how to create "real" houses and buildings using Google's user friendly engineering software, as well as create everything from parts to furniture. You can even modify existing structures or buildings from around the world. Use Google Earth and Google Sky to explore the Earth, moon, Mars, and constellations in the Milky Way. Campers also explore all of the monuments on Earth, the first step on the moon, and the natural structures on Mars from the comfort of their work areas.

Jumping into Minecraft (Ages 8-11) NEW!

Minecraft is one of the most popular games in the world for entertainment and education. This camp explores the techniques used to excel in the Minecraft game as well as hone the camper's creative skills using the many tools available in the software. Campers focus primarily on how to create and build a functioning community within this educational game.
Prerequisite: basic computer skills in using a mouse and saving files.

Motion, Potion and Commotion (Ages 7-11)

Have tons of fun mixing up potions and experimenting with all kinds of chemical reactions! Create sidewalk chalk, and even make your own ice cream. Find out how simple machines make our lives easier, explore the energy of motion and how energy can be conserved, and learn to send secret messages using special codes.

SAT Prep: Math (Ages 13-16) NEW!

Boost your test-tasking confidence in the mathematics section of the SAT. Learn cool strategies that work and ease your test stress by practicing math skills in number and operations, algebra and functions, geometry and measurement, and data analysis, statistics and probability.  Students will need a graphing calculators (TI-83 or TI-84).

SAT Prep: Reading and Writing (Ages 13-16) NEW!

Trying to raise reading scores or improve on essay writing for the SAT? This camp will help those who want to raise a score in either the reading or the writing portion of the SAT. Practice makes perfect, and combined untimed warm-up play followed by timed authentic SAT sections ensure students are prepared. Students work in partners and in small groups. Every student receives individual responses, suggestions and instruction on essays written during the camp.

Space: The Final Frontier (Ages 7-11)

From the earliest flying machines to the first rocket flights, this exciting hands-on program teaches campers to build many different flying devices, discover how Newton’s Laws of Motion help explain how things move and how rockets fly, and show them how amazing our Milky Way is. Experience the laws of motion and gravity, and see how they work in space, in the air – and on the ground!

Super Fun Web Design (Ages 11-14) NEW!

Have a blast learning coding (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, etc.) to create awesome websites. Learn how to create basic and then more advanced websites near the end of the week as well as fun theme websites. Campers create several websites including favorite cartoon character, favorite food, favorite super hero and favorite video game (or sport).
