ACLS-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (AHA)

In this classroom-based course, health care professionals enhance their skills in treating adult victims of cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies while earning their American Heart Association ACLS for Healthcare Providers Course Completion Card. ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large group sessions and small group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented. Initial ACLS (book and card included)  Space is limited.

This one-day intensive refresher course meets that requirement, including the latest changes in the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. Review acute cardiac care, pathophysiology, treatment modalities and pharmacology. PALS-Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA) NEW!

PALS is a classroom/video-based, instructor-led course that uses a series of simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment and basic life support, effective resuscitation and team dynamics. The goal of the PALS course is to improve the quality of care provided to seriously ill or injured children, resulting in improved outcomes. This course is for health care providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children. These include personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units such as physicians, nurses, paramedics and others who need a PALS course completion card for job or other requirements. Space is limited.
