If your little ones are eagerly hippity-hopping around the house waiting for Easter, come to Trident Technical College's Bunny Bake Shop to create sweets for the holiday season!  Bake and decorate Easter bunny treats, such as biscuits, crispy egg nesters, cupcakes, chicks and more.

Magic of Sugar Flower Making (Ages 12 and Up) NEW!
Learn the magic of sugar flower making! Students will learn how to produce a breathtaking Easter Lily to adorn the top of a cake or for display in a vase. Impress your family and friends with a handmade, realistic flower that is yours to enjoy long after the holiday is over. Class suitable for kids or adults and all tools and materials are provided.

Computer Technology

Computer classes will focus on science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) subjects and a variety of engaging topics, such as mobile gaming, animation, video game design, engineering techniques and computer technology.

Learn the tools that will allow you to make fun comic strips. Create comic strips and then share them with your friends and family!

Adventures in Game Making (Ages 8-11) NEW!

Using Gamemaker, students create their own video game in this fun and stimulating video game camp. Campers will be introduced to the awesome world of video game creation in a non-competitive, step-by-step, drag-and-drop process. This camp teaches the basic principles behind creating video games.

Kids learn how some of their favorite games are made as well as get hands-on experience with the software tools used to create them. Students will work individually and with classmates on video game design activities.

Architecture in Minecraft (Ages 12-16)

Students focus on real-world architectural structures and apply them in Minecraft. This course promotes awareness of architectural design, applying designs to an 8-bit-style video game using simple mathematical conversions, and encourages creativity through design and team-building through effective communication.

Do you love helping others? Do you want to make a difference? In this camp students will work on game development projects that are geared toward community involvement and problem solving. Students will be inspired to solve problems facing their world and future. This camp is perfect for students who have already taken a video game design camp with Mr. Cheek.

Gamestar Mechanic (Ages 9-12)

Gamestar Mechanic is a game and online community that teaches kids how to design their own games. Game design builds systems thinking, 21st century skills, creative problem solving, art and aesthetics, writing and storytelling, and creates a motivation for STEM learning.
