Accounting Basics

This course uses layman’s terms and provides a basic understanding of accounting and finance techniques used in daily operations. Learn accounting terminology and standard practices, as well as how to understand financial reports and measure profitability in this four-week, 24-hour course. Discover the importance of auditing, generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and the value of external financial reports. We also cover inventory management (LIFO, FIFO and weighted average).
