This one-day course is designed to train executive managers considering implementing an environmental management system (EMS) in their organization. Topics covered include the principles and practices of documenting, implementing and certifying an EMS to meet the requirements of ISO 14001: 2004. Participants will have a deeper understanding of the terminology and vocabulary used in ISO 19011, ISO 9000, ISO 14001 and ISO 14050.  

This two-day course trains internal auditors in the principles and practices of the auditing of environmental management systems for conformance with recognized national and international standards. This course meets the requirements of the ISO 19011: 2002 guidelines for quality and environmental audits, and ISO 14001: 2004. The course will be updated as the requirements of these standards change.

This two-day course provides remediation workers and supervisors, as well as project designers, with the state-of-the-art practices employed in remediation of mold and other microbials in indoor requirements. This program is based on the standard developed and submitted to ANSI by the American National Standards Committee on Guidelines for Mold and Fungi Control and Remediation, Z690. Course topics include an overview of biological contamination, industry background, potential health effects, guidelines and standards, remediation equipment and techniques, personal protective equipment, proper work practices, disposal issues, post remediation, management liability, and hands-on training. This course provides the basic information required to operate a pool or spa in compliance with DHEC regulations, preparing you to take the state certification examination to become a licensed pool or spa operator.
