Rebecca Ryan Collett
Growing up in Summerville, reporting the news in Charleston has been Rebecca’s dream since she was a little girl. She got her start at Dubose Middle School anchoring the morning school news at 12-years-old. Since joining WCBD-TV News 2 in 2009, Rebecca has covered every shift, including three years on the morning news. She was named weekend anchor in October 2014. Since then she's taken on the role leading the team's investigations unit. Rebecca believes news is three things: something you can use; something you should know; and something you’ll be talking about. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family, which will include a second son in May.
