The Electrician: Industrial certificate program prepares you for employment as an industrial maintenance electrician. Emphasis is placed on electrical/electronic theory and industrial electrical equipment such as motors, transformers, motor control systems, drive systems and programmable controllers. Special emphasis is placed on developing troubleshooting skills. Admission into this program requires qualifying scores on SAT, ACT or TTC’s placement test. High school graduation is not required if you are at least 18 years old.
