Environmental Technology
Certificate: Engineering Technology
Credit Requirements: 40 Semester Credit Hours
This certificate program provides instruction to prepare students to perform a wide variety of skills within the environmental field such as permitting, emergency chemical spill response, operation and maintenance of control equipment, and environmental sampling. Students are prepared for technical positions in the areas of air pollution, water pollution and waste management.
Admission into this program requires proof of high school graduation (or GED) and qualifying scores on SAT, ACT or the TTC placement test.
