Mid-Range Computing
Certificate: Computer Technology
Credit Requirements: 18 Semester Credit Hours
The Mid-Range Computing program prepares students for positions as computer operation technicians, system administrators or programmers on mid-range computer systems used by medium- to large-sized organizations. Exposure is given to implementing and managing iSeries systems security measures on user access, file management and save/restore operations. Admission into this program requires proof of high school graduation (or GED) and qualifying scores on SAT, ACT or the TTC placement test.
