This course is a study of UNIX system operation procedures, administration and networking. Includes system installation and administration tasks for Linux workstations and servers. File system implementation and security, system initialization, process management, data compression and back-up procedures, performance monitoring and troubleshooting are addressed. This course helps the student prepare for the CompTIA Linux+ certification exam.
