This certificate is designed to prepare students for entry-level positions where a degree is not required but where advanced education enhances employability and promotion. Many employers want an employee to have post-high school education in the corrections area, without requiring a degree. Admission into this program requires proof of high school graduation (or GED) and qualifying scores on SAT, ACT or the TTC placement test. See your advisor for reading and writing placement.
