Bank of America Check Cashing Guidelines (Checks Issued After March 1, 2014)
Acceptable Forms of Identification (ID) for Students
Two Valid/Non-Expired Forms of ID Required-One Must Be Primary*
Non-Bank of America customers will be asked to provide a thumb print and will need to go into the lobby to cash the check
No check-cashing fee charged for Trident Technical College checks presented at Bank of America

PRIMARY*

Government Issued ID with Photo

  • Driver's License from U.S., American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands
  • U.S. Non-Driver's License (State Issued ID)
  • U.S. Driver's Permit
  • U.S. Military ID Common Access Card (CAC) 
  • U.S. Armed Services ID
  • U.S., state, or local government-issued ID Card
  • U.S. Passport including Passport Card
  • Canadian Citizenship Certificate Card

Bank of America Branded Debit Card, ATM Card or Credit Card (with photo)

SECONDARY

  • Bank of America debit card, ATM card, credit card or charge card (without photo)
  • Major credit card from another financial institution 
  • Major retail credit card from a nationally well-known department store or retail company 
  • Debit card with Visa or Mastercard logo from another financial institution 
  • TTC student ID card with current term sticker on back of ID
  • U.S.issued employment or work ID card or badge 

 

                         

Deposit of checks--Funds availability varies with each banking institution.  Banks may take two or more business days to credit customer accounts.  Call your bank if you have any questions.
