International Clubs at the College

Alpha Mu Gamma Nu Lambda Chapter:

To recognize achievement in the field of foreign languages, to stimulate a desire for linguistic attainment, to encourage an interest in the study of foreign language, literatures, cultures and civilizations, and to foster sympathetic understanding of other peoples and international friendship.  Advisors:  Patricia Newman, 574-6405; Mary Lou Ippolito, 574-6802; nd Lisa Lopez, 574-6681.

International Club:

To promote good will and understanding, to develop character, to cultivate friendship, and to assist international students in their academic skills and daily life adjustment.  Advisors:  Tommie Burwell, 574-6463 and Fariba Ebrahimi, 574-6121.

Japanese Anime Education Club:

To educate students on Japanese culture and anime.  Advisors:  Katharine Purcell, 574-6457 and Sandy Lopez, 574-6681.

Roots and Shoots:

To foster respect and compassion for all living things, to promote understanding of all cultures and beliefs and to inspire each individual to take action to make the world a better place for the environment, animals and the human community.  Advisors:  Patricia Newman, 574-6405 and Roger West, 574-6780.
