The College awards associate degrees, diplomas and certificates upon the successful completion of the required academic course work. You should apply for graduation during the semester prior to program completion. A separate application must be completed for each program of study. Diplomas may not be issued for programs that have been discontinued.

Effective Fall 2009, in compliance with a S.C. State Board for Technical and Comprehensive mandate, TTC implemented a degree structure that better aligns with those of other colleges and universities. Essentially, all associate degrees, diplomas and certificates fall under one of three names—Associate in Arts (AA), Associate in Science (AS) and Associate in Applied Science (AAS). The majors have not changed, only the name of the degree type.  See Fall 2009 new degree structure listing.

To be eligible for graduation at TTC:

  • Graduates must have an overall grade point average of 2.0 or better for all courses required in the degree, diploma or certificate program.

  • If a graduate earned credit hours from other institutions or agencies, a minimum of 25 percent of the total hours of coursework required in the program must be completed at TTC.

Graduates participating in TTC's graduation ceremony at the end of spring semester receive diploma covers during the ceremony.  The Registrar's office mails the actual diploma to graduate in 4 to 6 weeks after receipt and end of semester grade processing.
