Educational Value

11.1 Students being able to evaluate their readiness for course instruction and methodology

Quality Standards

11.1.1 Students are provided a reliable and valid evaluation instrument to evaluate their readiness to enroll in a course using Internet-related technologies.

11.1.2 Students will have an opportunity to evaluate their readiness prior to enrolling in a course and will have prescriptive information on how to remediate any readiness deficiencies.

Educational Value

11.2 Students being able to self-evaluate their learning style(s)

Quality Standards

11.2.1 Students will be given access to a reliable and valid evaluation instrument that measures their learning style(s).

11.2.2 Information will be provided for the student to understand and use the results of the learning style(s) evaluation.

11.3 Students being able to self-evaluate whether they are processing content correctly throughout a course

Quality Standards

11.3.1 Students will be given self-evaluations, whether graded or non-graded, to evaluate how well they are retaining the course content.

11.3.2 In these self-evaluations, students will receive feedback regarding their correct and incorrect responses. When students are incorrect, corrective information will be provided.
