Established in 2009 by the Lowcountry Manufacturers Council, the Fund assists students enrolled in two associate degree General Technology career path programs and various certificates in Industrial Technology.

Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for this scholarship, an applicant:

1. must be a new, returning or continuing student;
2. must be a Berkeley, Charleston or Dorchester county resident;
3. must be enrolled in the following associate degree program:
   • General Technology - career path in: 
     • Industrial Maintenance Mechanics 
       OR
     • Electrician: Construction and Industrial
   • or one of the following certificate programs:
     • Industrial Maintenance
     • Industrial Mechanic 
     • Electrician: Industrial
     • Welding Gas Metal Arc and Flux Cored Arc
     • Welding Gas Tungsten Arc
     • Welding Shielded Metal Arc
4. must enroll in and maintain at least six credit hours; and
5. must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.

Award amount/use: Award of up to $1,500 ($750 for fall semester/$750 for spring semester) for tuition, books, required course materials and equipment.
