Created in 1952 by Mr. Alexander's bequest, the Foundation provides grants to benefit charitable causes in Charleston and Dorchester counties, with the TTC student scholarship program as one of the beneficiaries.

Student Eligibility: New, returning or continuing students are eligible to apply.

To qualify: Resident of Charleston, Berkeley or Dorchester county; enroll in and maintain at least 12 semester credit hours; have a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA in a TTC associate degree, diploma or certificate program.

Award amount/use: A one-time award of up to $1,000 for tuition, books, required course materials and equipment.
