Established in 2005 by Sharon Asbill, the Fund benefits students enrolled in the Esthetics program who are committed to building a productive and successful career in the esthetics field.
Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for this scholarship, an applicant:
1) must be a new, returning or continuing student;
2) must be enrolled in the Esthetics certificate program;
3) must enroll in and maintain at least six credit hours; and
4) must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater.
Essay Requirement: Applicants are required to provide a brief essay describing their professional aspirations. Instructions for submitting the essay will be provided during the application process.
Award amount/use: Award of up to $2,000 ($1,000 for fall semester/$1,000 for spring semester OR $1,000 for spring semester/$1,000 for summer semester) for tuition, books, required course materials, equipment and fees for licensure exams.
