Established in honor of Sen. Ernest F. Hollings to assist graduating seniors of tri-county area high schools.
Student Eligibility: New, returning or continuing students are eligible to apply.
To qualify: Must be a graduating senior in 2008 from a tri-county high school with a 3.0 or higher GPA or a returning TTC student ranked in the top 25 percent of current TTC students. Must enroll in and maintain at least 12 semester credit hours and a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA. Preference given to students who demonstrate academic achievement, extracurricular activities and community service. To remain eligible these criteria must be met each semester.
Award amount/use: Up to $500 for Fall and up to $500 for Spring semester tuition and books for up to two years if student continues to qualify. Maximum total award: $2,000.
