Pet Rest Cemetery and Cremation Service Veterinary Technology First-Year Scholarship

Established by Diane T. Rozier of Berkeley County for students enrolled in TTC's Veterinary Technology program to raise awareness of pet cremation as a humane and environmentally sound means of the final disposition of family pets; and to encourage and assist qualified and motivated students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to succeed in a career in veterinary care.

Student Eligibility:  New, returning or continuing students are eligible to apply

To qualify: New or returning student enrolled in at least six semester credit hours and in the first year of TTC's Veterinary Technology program with a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA and a demonstrated financial need.

Award amount/use: A one-time award of up to $500 for tuition, books, required class-related equipment and uniforms.

Essay Requirement:  Applicants are required to provide a 250-500 word essay on the topic, "The role animals play in my life and the importance of dignified, compassionate aftercare." Instructions for submitting the essay will be provided during the application process.
