Benefits East Cooper residents who plan to further their education at TTC and who have demonstrated community service involvement.

Student Eligibility: New, returning or continuing students are eligible to apply.

To qualify: Full-time resident of the East Cooper area (excluding Daniel Island and Cainhoy), a U.S. citizen, have a 2.75 or higher cumulative GPA and plan to be a full-time student at TTC, enrolling in at least 12 semester credit hours. Must demonstrate community service through citizenship activities such as church, charitable, civic or youth groups. Participation in school activities and self-support through part-time employment or entrepreneurial activity will be considered.

Award amount/use: A one-time award of up to $1,000 for tuition and books.
