Renamed in 1992 in memory of Joyce Wohnig, the fund benefits students in TTC's Medical Assisting program (formerly named the Medical Assisting Scholarship).

Student Eligibility: New, returning or continuing students are eligible to apply.

To qualify: Tri-county resident; accepted into the Medical Assisting program; enroll in and maintain a minimum of nine semester credit hours; and have a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA. Prior recipients of this scholarship are not eligible.

Award amount/use: A one-time award of up to $300 for tuition.
