Free Academic Help for Trident Technical College Students, Including Students Enrolled in Online Classes!

The Learning Center provides an open learning environment that offers assistance to students through tutoring, workshops, and various instructional materials, such as DVDs, videos, books, and handouts on specific academic topics. Special emphasis is placed on providing help in mathematics, writing, and reading. The Learning Center offers many options to help students be successful in their academic work.

At Main Campus, face-to-face math tutoring for developmental, bridge, and many curriculum math courses is available by appointment, or students may drop in to The Math Center for assistance with curriculum math courses. Online tutoring for several curriculum math classes is also available. The Writing Center offers tutoring by appointment, drop-in tutoring times, and online tutoring for writing assignments for any TTC course. Tutoring assistance for RDG classes and curriculum level reading is also available.

At Palmer Campus, the Student Success Center (rm. 226) provides tutoring in mathematics, reading, and writing. At Berkeley Campus, services include math tutoring and limited assistance for students in Developmental Studies classes.  Limited math assistance is available at Mt. Pleasant campus.

The tutoring services provided through The Learning Center are free of charge for all currently enrolled TTC students.
