Commonly used self-assessment inventories are available as described below.  Remember that there are no “right” or “wrong” answers.  These tools are designed to help you to begin organizing your thoughts as you consider career options and educational goals.  Some tools require that you meet with a TTC counselor in order to determine whether they would be appropriate relative to your needs.

Career Interest Game Source: University of Missouri
This game is based on Holland’s codes.  Choose your favorite type and find out what careers relate to your choices.  This test is very simple to take and very informative. Other links will allow you to explore other assessments.

Career Quiz Source:  Princeton Review 
This assessment's results are color coded.  Each color tells you what your interests are and what careers match with these interests.

n today’s economy, change occurs rapidly and, often, unexpectedly.  If anything, we anticipate this rate of change to continue to speed up in the future.  Today’s high school graduates can anticipate up to 10 significant career changes in their working lives. To the extent that you can, it is in your best interest to develop skills related to career development and to use them to your advantage.
