Military

You may receive credit for selected formal military course work and training. TTC uses the credit recommendations of the American Council on Education's Guide for the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services to evaluate both military classroom and experiential training.

To have military training evaluated for possible course credit, you must provide the Registrar's Office with an official transcript. To have military experience evaluated for possible course credit, you must report directly to your current academic advisor to submit all required documents for evaluations. If applicable, credit will only be awarded for courses within your current major.

Each branch of the military now provides these transcripts as follows:

Others may request a transcript by writing the Enrollment Management/Registrar Division (CCAF/RRRA, 130 W Maxwell Blvd, Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-6613). Transcript requests must include requester's full name or former name if appropriate, Social Security Account Number, current address including ZIP code, and address and ZIP code to which transcript is to be mailed. The requester's signature is the legal authorization for release of a transcript to the addressee designated in the request. Transcripts sent directly to educational institutions will be certified as official by the CCAF registrar. Transcripts sent directly to students are unofficial copies and will be stamped "Issued to Student." The college does not use the fax to accept requests for transcripts or send transcripts. CCAF transcripts are provided free of charge.
