How much of your TTC program credit can come from credits earned at other institutions?
If you earned credit hours from other institutions or agencies, you may fulfil up to 75 percent of program requirements through advanced standing.
TTC awards the following types of advanced standing credit:
- College transfer Credit
You may receive college credit for classes in which you earned a grade of C- or better from approved, regionally accredited, post secondary institutions. TTC considers courses with a grade of P (passing) for transfer credit upon receipt of official notification that a P grade is equivalent to a C- or higher.
- Advanced Placement
You will receive college credit for a score of 3, 4 or 5 on selected Advanced Placement Examinations
Transfer credit and Advanced Placement awards can be reviewed by using TTC Express. Login and go to TTC Express for Current Students and choose Current Students. Then go to Transcript under "Academic Profile" and choose Student Transcript.
TTC may award credit for selected formal military coursework and training from transcripts provided by the different branches of service. TTC uses the credit recommendations of the American Council on Education’s (ACE) Guide for the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services to evaluate both military classroom and experiential training.
Transcripts are provide by individual branches of the military:
