College facilities are used primarily for activities related to academic programs and continuing education.  When meeting space and parking are not required for College programs and events, space may be made available to the following types of organizations and entities. 

Economic development organizations with relationships to the College, such as Chambers of Commerce; the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau; the Charleston Regional Development Alliance; hospitality, tourism and culinary organizations; and similar economic development groups.

Educational organizations such as the Commission on Higher Education, South Carolina State Board for Technical and Comprehensive Education, and district-wide school boards.

Governmental organizations such as the Department of Transportation and the Employment Security Commission.

Non-profit and For-profit organizations whose missions and values are consonant with those of the College; however, the College cannot serve as the site of regular meetings of any external non-profit organization.

Public entities such as City and County Councils, Legislative Delegations, and the South Carolina Congressional Delegation may use College facilities on a space-available basis at no charge.

  1. Ceiling clearance in rooms 107A- 107G is 17’ 6”. 
  2. All rooms in the College Center (107A-107G) are equipped with a projection system with mounted screens and a sound system.  All other audio/visual requirements are the user's responsibility.
  3. All meeting rooms and related spaces are subject to applicable taxes and service charges of 20% if effective on the date of the event. All rates are subject to change. Additional fees may apply if extensive setup is required.
