AUDIOVISUAL PRODUCTION REQUEST 14 - 0 - 3 1-03-96

BASED ON POLICY NUMBER AND TITLE

PURPOSE: Learning Resources provides audio and video tape duplication for curriculum support.

  1. REQUEST
Duplication requests are made directly to the Audiovisual Librarian.

  2. LEAD TIME
To ensure time for obtaining necessary copyrights and duplications, requests for duplication of audio and video tapes for classroom instruction need to be submitted six (6) weeks prior to date needed.

  3. DUPLICATION EVALUATION
The Audiovisual Librarian evaluates the product request for the most cost effective means of obtaining duplicates. The Audiovisual Librarian first determines if multiple copies can be purchased from commercial sources. If no commercial materials are available, based on the number of copies needed, the Audiovisual Librarian determines if it is most cost effective for external or in house duplication. If in house duplication is most economical, the request is assigned to the Electronics Technician. An estimated date of completion of the project is given to the requester in all cases.

  4. COMPLETION OF REQUEST
The requester is notified when the project is completed.
