16- 4-0 Early Admissions Policy

Trident Technical College may grant early admission to high school juniors and seniors, with the written approval of the principal or guidance counselor, based on one of the following criteria:

Combined SAT score of at least 800 (with a minimum score of 400 on the verbal component and 400 on the math component) if taken before April 1, 1995, or 920 (with a minimum score of 480 on the verbal component and 440 on the math component) if taken on or after April 1, 1995.
Minimum ACT scores of 18 for the math component and 19 for the English component.
Satisfactory score on Computer-adaptive Placement Assessment and Support System (COMPASS) or ASSET.
The applicant must submit documentation to support one of the above criteria to the College along with the endorsement letter from the high school principal or guidance counselor.

The Admissions and Records office will maintain this documentation for an early admit student in the student's permanent file.
