Decisions regarding any change in the status of a student who is known to have AIDS or Human Immunodeficiency Virus infection (HIV) (upon adequate documentation from the student's physician) will be made on a case by case basis by the President with a recommendation from the Vice President of Student Services. Taken into account will be physical condition, neurological development and behavior using a team approach including the student's physician, appropriate public health officials and others deemed necessary.

The identity of any student with AIDS or HIV infection will be confidential.
