PURPOSE:  To establish perimeters for the Financial Aid Department to defer the payment of tuition and fees in the appropriate instances.

1. APPROPRIATE DEFERMENT FOR VETERANS
   Veterans who applied for advance pay through the Veteran’s Assistance office at least 30 days prior to registration but who, through no fault of their own, did not receive their advance checks in time for registration.
   
   
2. APPROPRIATE DEFERMENT FOR FINANCIAL AID STUDENTS
   Students who applied for financial assistance and submitted a valid student aid report with supporting documentation prior to the deadline for the term but who, through no fault of their own, did not receive their checks or award letters in time for regular registration.
