Academic counseling services include counseling to prevent academic probation or suspension and/ or counseling following academic probation or suspension.    We can also help you develop “college survival skills” in areas such as note taking, test taking, classroom “do’s and do not’s,” reading college texts, and study scheduling and planning.  We maintain a number of College Success Self-help Handouts   to assist you.  Activities, Groups, and Workshops may also be scheduled for assistance in these areas.

Counselors serve as Academic Advisors for “undecided” majors (pdf) at TTC.

These free services are available to currently enrolled TTC students or recently-enrolled students planning to return to the College.  If we are not able to meet your needs, we will make every effort to refer you to another community resource.
