These services are located in our Counseling and Career Development office on Main Campus and in the Student Success Centers on the Palmer and Berkeley Campuses. We provide a wide range of individual and/or group-based Services for Students with Disabilities.
We are committed to fully meeting both the spirit and the letter of applicable portions of Section 504 of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act and the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act. We work closely with our faculty and staff and with a number of local, state, and national agencies to ensure that qualified students are appropriately served.
We approach each request for accommodations on a case-by-case basis. Both the counselors and the faculty will be especially concerned that you are able (with or without reasonable accommodations) to meet any essential functions or standards for any given course and/or program of study.
In order to be fair to our students who qualify for and require reasonable accommodations, our faculty and staff will not provide accommodations unless they are notified to do so by our Counseling staff.
