Any student may self-refer him/herself for any of our counseling services.  Additionally, any faculty or staff member may make informal referrals to or encourage students to access our services.

However, we also manage a referral service that faculty may use to more formally refer you to our services if appropriate.  It’s called V.I.P. (very important personal referral).   It may be used for either personal or academic needs.   We ask that the faculty or staff member advise you that he/she is making the referral.  You should receive a copy of the form.  A member of our counseling staff will contact you; however, you may also go ahead and schedule a consultation on your own.  To see a copy of the form used by faculty or staff, click here.
