Program performance is reflected through program effectiveness data defined by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) (20 N. Wacker Drive, Suite 2850 Chicago, IL 60606-2182, (312) 704-5300, http://www.jrcert.org/). Program effectiveness data includes program completion rate, credentialing examination pass rate, and job placement rate. Below is the most current data reported to JRCERT. This information can also be found at www.jrcert.org/resources/program-effectiveness-data. Questions regarding program effectiveness data should be directed to the Program Director.
The 2012 Annual Report reflected the following:
Program Completion Rate: January 1 – December 31, 2012: 79%
The program completion rate is calculated by dividing the number of students who completed the program by the number of students who initially enrolled in the program. Twenty-three (23) of the twenty-nine (29) students initially enrolled graduated in 2012.
Credentialing Examination Pass Rate: January 2008 – December 2012: 84%
The credentialing pass rate is defined as the number of graduates who pass the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) examination as compared with the number of graduates who take the examination. This data is documented as a five (5) year average of the 1st attempt only within six (6) months of graduation. Eighty-seven (87) of the one hundred five (105) graduates passed the ARRT credentialing examination on the first attempt.
Job Placement Rate: January 2008 – December 2012: 71%
The job placement rate is defined as the number of graduates employed in the radiologic sciences as compared to the number of graduates actively seeking employment in the radiologic sciences. This data is documented as a five- year average job placement within six-months of graduation. Seventy-seven (77) of the one hundred ten (110) graduates obtained employment in the radiologic sciences within six months of graduation.
