Each spring, the Automotive Technology program sponsors the annual Spring Spin-Off Car Show. The car show includes approximately 25 classes with three trophies for each class and Best of Show, President’s Trophy, and Advisory Board Trophy awards. All proceeds go to the Athell Yon Scholarship for Automotive Technology students.

Spring Spin-Off activities include:

•  Valve Cover Races -  Entries must be made from automobile valve covers and have no propulsion means other than gravity. A “run-what-you-brung” class is open to any entry.  

•  Pinewood Derby

•  Lego League Tractor Pull Competition

•  Make and Take model kits for kids from the SC Modelers Association
