This classes teaches the pruning techniques of shrubs, trees, and palms, planting techniques of trees and shrubs, weed control, edging installation and maintenance, fertilization of trees and shrubs, and more.  The class is divided into small groups and assigned areas of the horticulture grounds to maintain under the guidance of the instructor.  Students gain a good foundation to care for landscaped properties.
