MISSION

Established in 1975, the Trident Technical College Foundation exists to raise funds to help bridge the gap between needs and resources for TTC students and employees.  The Foundation operates independently of the College as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.



SCHOLARSHIPS

In the 2010-11 academic year, the Foundation made more than 200 awards totaling more than $200,000 from 87 scholarship funds. Since July 2010, donors have established the following funds with the Foundation:

- A. William Roberts, Jr. Scholarship
- Smalls Edwards Scholarship
- Tri-County Master Gardeners Scholarship

STUDENT SUPPORT

Funds such as The Student Emergency Fund and the program-specific Student Equipment Funds serve to assist students with costs outside of tuition.

FACULTY AND STAFF SUPPORT

To provide professional and personal growth opportunities for faculty and staff, the TTC Foundation will provide financial support for full-time, permanent employees to take credit courses through its Credit Course/Tuition Assistance programs.

In 1991, TTC and the Foundation established the Minigrant Program to provide funds to faculty and staff for equipment, materials and special resources to enhance the learning experience of TTC students.

GRANTS

The TTC grants office assists faculty and staff in obtaining grant funding to advance the strategic goals of the College. Grant funds support a variety of needs at TTC, ranging from equipment to curriculum enhancement to development of new programs.
