The print shop is responsible for printing materials in a timely manner, exactly as jobs are submitted. The Printing Services staff are not responsible for errors in grammar, spelling or content. The requestor must ensure the document is accurate and correct before submitting for duplication. It is the requestor's responsibility to send relevant documents through Marketing.
To be as cost efficient as possible, materials submitted to the print shop are printed in black ink and are printed two-sided if in a multi-page format. Color is not permitted for internal documents because color is an added expense (more than 2X the cost of black reproduction) and is available in limited quantities only (maximum copies 400). Internal documents include posters, brochures, fliers, newsletters, syllabi covers, instructional materials, etc., distributed to current students and/or faculty/staff. The color printer is a low-volume printer that is used primarily for jobs targeting external audiences that support recruiting, development and marketing efforts. Please contact your representative in the Marketing Department for color copy jobs that meet the guidelines, and your representative will schedule the job with the print shop manager. Please note that you will not be reimbursed for color copy jobs done by off-campus vendors (Staples, Office Max, etc.) without prior approval from your supervisor.
