You may qualify for Project ASSIST if you meet the following criteria:

1. You must receive

A full or partial Pell Grant

Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.2 or higher, and

Not be an Associate in Art, Associate in Science or 2+2 major

2. You must be at least one of the following:

A single parent (unmarried or legally separated from a spouse and have full or joint custody of a minor  child or children),

A displaced homemaker (an adult who has worked primarily to care for the home and children),

A single pregnant women, or

Enrolled in a nontraditional program of study* (associate degree, diploma or certificate)                            
    *The federal government defines a nontraditional career as work for which individuals from one gender  make up less than 25 percent of the work force in that field. A nontraditional program of study prepares students to work in a nontraditional career after graduation.
