The Trident Card Competition has become an annual project in which Commercial Graphics students produce work both in class projects and individually to compete for selection by Dr. Mary Thornley, President. These cards are sent on the occasion of a birthday or for condolences during sickness or bereavement. The winning entries are printed and used by Trident Technical College for a calendar year, and the winning students receive both recognition and a cash award at the Annual Awards Ceremony each May. Selection occurs in April of every year, although the projects may be completed within any semester.
