PRE-COURT REPORTER CERTIFICATE

Court reporterTrident Technical College’s Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development offers an online Pre-Court Reporter Certificate Program. Students will have the opportunity to take the following courses while also learning theory and speedbuilding from a nationally-known online court reporter school, Stenowave.    

Learning to be a court reporter can be a long and tedious process and is traditionally very expensive. The Pre-Court Reporter Certificate Program along with the Stenowave Theory and Speedbuilding courses provides a more affordable and faster way to become a court reporter. Introduction to Court Reporting explains the Stenowave role and its requirements, steno equipment and pricing structure. You will have the opportunity to speak with Stenowave officials before proceeding with the Pre-Court Reporter Certificate.

This course provides an introduction to software applications necessary to participate in Continuing Education online programs. Other applications reviewed are Microsoft Outlook and searching the Internet. This course is a prerequisite to all online courses. Book not required
