Accelerated Option Announcement

The nursing division is pleased to announce a new option for admission to the Associate Degree Nursing program.  In the Accelerated Option clinical nursing courses can be completed in fifteen months after the non-nursing courses have been completed in the first two semesters. The Accelerated Option is designed for students who  a) hold a baccalaureate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.5 from a regionally accredited school OR  b) achieve a composite score equivalent to the 80th percentile on the National League for Nursing Pre-Admission Exam (PAX-RN).  Scores are valid for 2 years from date of testing.  Students may re-test every 6 months.  Students in this option must have no work obligations while enrolled in clinical nursing courses.

Students will be accepted to the Accelerated Option beginning Summer 2009. For additional information on the Accelerated Option, please see the 2009-2010 TTC Catalog or talk with your nursing advisor.

NOTE: In order to register for clinical nursing courses, all students must meet registration requirements.
