Trident Technical College offers Building a Successful Business Using the Internet, a new 10-week continuing education course that provides a step-by-step proven methodology to build an online business. The course will be offered on Saturdays, Sept. 12-Nov. 14, from 9 a.m.-noon at the Continuing Education Center (Bldg. 910) on Trident Technical College’s Main Campus, 2001 Mabeline Rd., North Charleston. Cost is $849.
While a Web site is a by-product of this process, the real focus of the course is a hands-on learning environment that teaches participants how to run a successful and sustainable Internet business. Topics include how to generate traffic, get noticed by the search engines and make money online.
TTC has partnered with SiteSell Inc. to bring a suite of smart tools into the classroom that allow participants to build a business on the Web, without having any technical skills or programming experience. Certified instructor Richard Dwell, who has a successful Web site using these same tools, explains the C-T-P-M process: content, traffic, pre-selling and monetization. At the end of the course, participants will have an operational online business and the knowledge to turn their dreams into a money-making endeavor. To register, call 843-574-6152.
