March 27, 2009... Trident Technical College’s Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development is an approved trainer for asbestos removal and handling. The college was recently approved by the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control to offer asbestos abatement training for workers, supervisors, inspectors, management planners and project designers in South Carolina and North Carolina. These courses may be used for licensing as an asbestos abatement professional. Prior to receiving approval, TTC partnered with Greenville Technical College to provide asbestos training.
