Start your Valentine’s Day celebration early at Trident Technical College on Friday, Feb. 13, as Charleston’s Premier Big Band, featuring Nancy Clayton, plays the standards of the Swing era.

The music of George Gershwin, Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and others will fill the College Center in the Complex for Economic Development (Building 920) on Main Campus, 7000 Rivers Ave., North Charleston from 7:30 to 10 p.m. A new highlight this year is a Swing dance competition featuring TTC students and faculty and staff.

The concert, sponsored by the College’s Student Activities office, the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences and the State Credit Union, is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
