Administrative professionals are invited to attend a special day of personal growth and professional development at the 14th Annual Administrative Professionals Conference Wednesday,
April 23. Sponsored by Trident Technical College’s Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development and the Charleston and Monck’s Corner chapters of the International Association of Administrative Professionals, the conference will be held 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the Town and Country Inn and Conference Center, 2008 Savannah Highway, Charleston. Cost is $129 per person. If more than three people are registering from the same organization or if you are an IAAP member, the cost is $99 per person.
Television personality Angie Mizzell will serve as mistress of ceremony. Nikki Hardin, founder and editor of Skirt! Magazine, is the morning keynote speaker. She will share her story of perseverance and courage. Marshawn Evans, former Miss America finalist and founder of MEU, provides the afternoon keynote address. She will discuss HABITUDE, a nine-step performance training program designed to help professionals maximize potential.
Other topics include tips and tricks for Microsoft Office, living safely in a dangerous world and moving forward in your personal and professional lives. A continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments are provided.
